Learner Support:
Accessing Support: If you are struggling to access coursework, can't get online or do not have access to a computer, we will find a way to help you. If access is a problem, please let your virtual home room or coursework teacher know. We will find a way to get you coursework on paper or adapt to another format.
Course Support: Our entire staff of Education Assistants, Inclusion Specialists and Classroom Teachers are still here, even if they need to support remotely. There are many options and oppurtunities for our staff to connect to help you through tough assignments. Start by letting your coursework or virtual home room teacher know you need a hand and they will work with you to find supports.
Social Emotional Support:
We know this has been a tough time for our learners and many have missed regular check-ins with school and community mental health supports. Our school counsellors are still here. There are options for connecting remotely to support you. please call the school and ask for a staff member you trust. Let us know you need a bit of help and we will find a way to connect you with support.
Nutrition / Health / Safety Supports:
If lack of access to school facilities, food programs or health check--ins has caused additional hardships for you, please let us know. If you are not feeling safe in your home environment, please let us know. Your safety and well-being is our highest priority. We will help you anyway we can.
